PUB SPY
THE SHANTULLY INN, CROSSDONEY

sw

THIS fine premises appeared out of nowhere as we drove from Ballinagh to Killeshandra. And it is just about the best we have seen in a long time. The black-marble fireplace caught our eye but we were a little disappointed to discover that it's fuelled by gas.

They have very cleverly used some of the exterior cut stone inside and it blends so well with the remainder of the décor.

The Commandos couldn't wait to get their bottoms on the swivel armchair barstools in this L-shaped pub.

We also admired the expensive quality green-covered bench seating.

Bench seating in the second section of the pub is a sort of reddish in colour but equally as attractive.

A very professional couple tended to our needs and they did it with such precision and dedication.
We loved the timber ceiling, its unique design and the skylights. The toilets, with their gleaming brown wall tiles, are unequalled.
